A French businessman becomes stranded alone in a luxury hotel room in Bombay when terrorist attackers lay siege to the building in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film follows his desperate attempts to stay hidden and survive as the violence unfolds around him, seen largely from his isolated perspective. His ordeal is interspersed with glimpses of his family's frantic efforts to reach him from France.
