Ramstein- The pierced heart

A German television drama depicting the catastrophic airshow disaster that took place at Ramstein Air Base in 1988, when a mid-air collision sent burning aircraft plummeting into a crowd of spectators. The film follows both the survivors and emergency responders as they grapple with the immediate aftermath and the longer struggle for acknowledgement and accountability. It examines the human cost of the tragedy and the political failures that left many victims feeling abandoned by the authorities.
