Saints and Scroungers

Saints and Scroungers is a BBC documentary series in which presenter Dominic Littlewood examines two sides of the British benefits system: those who genuinely rely on welfare support to survive, and those who fraudulently claim money to which they are not entitled. The programme follows investigators from the Department for Work and Pensions as they pursue benefit cheats, whilst also highlighting cases of vulnerable individuals receiving vital assistance. Each episode balances these contrasting stories to present a broader picture of the welfare state in action.
