A bumbling and officious German caretaker named Krause takes his role far too seriously, policing the residents of his apartment block with petty rules and self-important authority. The comedy series follows his hapless attempts to maintain order whilst his personal life and relationships remain in cheerful disarray. His interfering nature and dim-witted sincerity make him a source of constant amusement to those around him.
