The Inspector and the Sea
A Swedish crime drama series following a veteran detective who relocates to the idyllic island community of Gotland, where he investigates murders and other serious crimes against the backdrop of the Baltic Sea. Despite the seemingly peaceful surroundings, the cases he encounters reveal dark undercurrents within the close-knit local population. The series blends procedural detective work with exploration of the detective's personal struggles and his gradual adjustment to island life.
