A Italian television film depicting the life of Felicia Bartolotta Impastato, the mother of Peppino Impastato, a Sicilian activist murdered by the Mafia in 1978. The story follows her decades-long struggle to seek justice for her son's killing, challenging the culture of silence and complicity that surrounded organised crime in Sicily. Her determined campaign eventually contributes to the conviction of the local Mafia boss responsible for Peppino's death.
