This Italian biographical television miniseries charts the turbulent life of Fabrizio De André, one of Italy's most celebrated singer-songwriters. It follows his journey from a privileged upbringing in Genoa through his years of musical creativity, personal struggles, and complicated relationships. The story also depicts the traumatic period when De André and his partner were kidnapped by Sardinian bandits, and how that experience profoundly shaped him.
