A mild-mannered Warsaw taxi driver is mistakenly identified as a feared contract killer, and finds himself caught between ruthless gangsters and corrupt police officers who all believe he is the notorious assassin. Desperate to survive, he must navigate a dangerous criminal underworld whilst maintaining the facade of a killer he never was. The film blends sharp satirical comedy with the chaos of post-communist Polish society in the 1990s.
