A violent power struggle unfolds in Rome as organised crime, corrupt politicians and the Vatican become entangled in a battle over a lucrative coastal development deal. A small-time gangster rises through the criminal underworld whilst forming uneasy alliances with a ruthless crime family and a morally compromised member of parliament. As each faction manoeuvres for dominance, the web of corruption pulls everyone deeper into bloodshed and betrayal.
