Lodge 49
(2018)
A down-on-his-luck surfer in Long Beach, California named Dud stumbles upon a defunct fraternal order called Lodge 49 and becomes drawn into its eccentric community of working-class members. Through his newfound connection with the lodge and its ageing rituals and alchemical mythology, he seeks meaning and belonging following his father's death and the collapse of the family business. His sister Liz struggles alongside him financially, working dead-end jobs whilst the two siblings try to keep their lives from completely unravelling.
