A British detective investigates a murder in 1940s London, but his work is complicated by the fact that Britain lost the Second World War and is now under Nazi occupation. As he digs deeper into the case, he finds himself entangled in a dangerous conspiracy involving both the German authorities and the remnants of the British resistance. The series explores themes of collaboration, loyalty and moral compromise in a chillingly reimagined version of recent history.
