A Scottish detective series following Dr Douglas Monaghan and his colleagues at a Glasgow university parapsychology unit as they investigate cases involving supernatural and paranormal phenomena. Each storyline brings the team into contact with inexplicable events — from hauntings and premonitions to psychic phenomena — which they attempt to examine through a blend of scientific scepticism and open-minded inquiry. The cases often have profound personal consequences for those involved, blurring the boundary between rational explanation and the genuinely unknown.
