A young woman is abducted from her wedding ceremony by a dragon who carries her off to a remote island. There she discovers that the creature can transform into a handsome young man, and the two gradually fall in love despite the curse that binds him to his dragon form. As her family mounts a rescue mission to bring her home, she must choose between her former life and the extraordinary bond she has formed with her captor.
