Derry Girls
(2019)
A group of teenage girls and their token English friend navigate school life, family chaos, and the complications of growing up in 1990s Northern Ireland during the final years of the Troubles. In the second series, the gang faces new ordeals including a school retreat, a disastrous trip to Dublin, and the visit of Bill Clinton to Derry, all while the political situation around them edges haltingly towards peace.
