The Let Down

A new mother struggles to adjust to the exhausting and isolating reality of life with a newborn, finding that parenthood is far removed from her romantic expectations. She joins a mother's group where she encounters a range of other parents navigating their own challenges, and gradually forms an unlikely community with them. The Australian series follows her attempts to reconcile her former identity with the demands of her new role whilst her relationship with her partner is tested by sleeplessness and stress.
