The Best of Dorien B.

A Flemish veterinarian named Dorien discovers that her husband has been unfaithful and, overwhelmed by the collapse of her seemingly ideal life, walks out on both her marriage and her job. She moves in with her mother and attempts to rebuild her sense of self whilst navigating the chaos of single parenthood and an uncertain future. The film follows her gradual, often messy journey towards reclaiming her own identity outside the roles she had always been expected to fill.
