about the project

Production  A new play, “OFFA’S DYKE” written by Michael Stevens with music by James Peacock to be presented at Theatr Clwyd, Mold, North Wales.  Production week 7th to 12th November 2022

The Company    Suitcase Theatre.   A community theatre company with a strong reputation.   Their last production was Pinter’s The Birthday Party

The play   Am ill-assorted  group of walkers follow the long-distance trail from Chepstow to Prestatyn.

Rehearsals  The play is now in rehearsal, in Mold.  Rehearsing Tuesday and Thursday evenings to suit.  Crucial rehearsal period is the fortnight before and the week of the show.

Please note this is a Community Theatre production and roles are unpaid.

About Dave: a 30-year old male who is doing the walk he always meant to do with his old school mate, Neville. They haven't met for 15 years.
Unlike Neville, a college lecturer, Dave has followed a more working-class route in life and is now mending and servicing central heating boilers.
He is without a partner, after a series of short-lived relationships. Straight.
