Alright, this is me. I am a Moroccan Economics/International Business graduate who decided that she needed to go after her secret dream. To avoid any further clichés, I started this acting journey four years ago by taking classes and understanding what it actually entails to be an actor and to do the work.
Indeed, my experience is not vast, but my most ‘prominent’ role thus far, gave me the most invigorating experience I have ever had in terms of acting. The role in question, was playing the lead of Emily Webb in the play Our Town, by Thornton Wilder in the first production of my acting studio. It was a raw approach to connecting to the audience by having them seated all around us, conveying every moment and emotion as closely as possible to them.
Having been born in Belgium, grown up in Holland and now, living yet again in Brussels, has enabled me to speak many different languages, and to communicate more easily with a diverse range of people. And I would like to keep doing that, not only through direct verbal communication, but in reaching out by portraying our mutual experiences in life, as allowed by performance arts.
