Born in Bologna, Italy to American parents, I spent most of my life as a passionate New Yorker, where I practiced law for many years. But I was changing, transforming, mutating - rebelling against fixed-in-stone perceptions of identity, as formed by one's self and by others. So, I shifted gears, and pursued my passion for filmmaking and media, and have been working in television for quite some time. I now call Berlin home, thriving off of its creative energy and vibe.
I am really proud to be a founding member of the 'Directors Collective' workshop in New York, in which different directors run one scene per session with the same actors. It is a workout for all involved! I still attend every time I am back in New York.
During one of the 'Directors Collective' sessions I jumped in myself and improved a backstory with one of the actors. And I loved the experience! Since moving to Berlin, I have gotten the "acting bug." I have played in a few roles and have expanded my senses and body with regular, very challenging courses in physical theatre. I can also be seen frequently baring my soul in front of the microphone at a live Berlin story telling event, which is both fulfilling and great training.
I love the energy of the collaborative process, and in finding nuance and depth in each character, and I look forward to performing much more in the near future!
