about the project
Looking for British Asian actors for a film set in Tibet about a woman who returns to the ruins of her house which was destroyed by dissident PRC soldiers during the Chinese invasion. With her young son she tries to rebuild her house exactly as it once was in order to rebuild her life. She is helped by a passing monk who has escaped the destruction of his monastery and is following the Dalai Lama to India.
Directed by Jon Lawrence and shooting in Morocco in 2023.
Note, actors must have British Citizenship due to funding restrictions.
