Synopsis: Arthur is a foreign archaeologist who came to Italy as a young man where he met the love of his life, Beniamina, who is now gone. The pain of the loss has led him to join the world of ”Tomb Raiders”. They are particularly interested in Arthur’s mysterious ”gift”, who like a diviner perceives the void beneath the earth and senses the presence of tombs and treasures below.rn We are in the 1980s and meet Arthur, who wakes up from a strange dream on the train: a beautiful Etruscan statue seems to be calling him. Perhaps it is Beniamina, his lost love! He visits his former mother-in-law and meets her new opera student Italia, who captivates him with her magical aura. The tomb raiders jerk him into reality and more raids follow. During one job they come across a beautiful temple and Arthur finds the statue. They are discovered and as they flee the statue breaks. Arthur saves the head and sets out to reunite the mythical statue…
