NEW ZEALAND: French spkrs for play
The Victoria University of Wellington French Society is staging the New Zealand play Le Sud, written by Dave Armstrong. We are searching for four (4) actors and two (2) actresses in their twenties or early thirties who are confident speakers of French and English. Acting experience is not necessary. In addition, knowledge of Māori pronunciation (especially the Māori ‘r’) would be useful, however this is something that we could teach one of the female and one of the male actors. This is the director Brett Reid’s third play with the VUW French Society, with the two previous plays being Le Malentendu (in 2013) and The Marriage of Figaro (in 2014). Auditions will be held at the Alliance Française (78 Victoria St, Wellington) at 7pm on the 22th of January (with an alterative date being the 26th of Janury). Please confirm your attendance by emailing Rehearsals will commence on the 31st of January.
