Casting Notice

NETHERLANDS: male/female actors, 25-40, Dutch spkrs, for student short film in Breda [E]

This is a Casting Call for:

  • male/female actors
  • playing age: 25-40
  • based in/around Breda, Netherlands
  • speaking fluent DUTCH


Dennis, male, 35-40
The eternal cheater. A passive young father. He is stuck in his boring daily life. His work is not fun and he is only with his wife for the children. He does not know how he can make his life better and because of that he gets weird with his mistress.

Cilla, female, 25-35
The mistress. A young spontaneous woman. She is in love with Dennis and wants him for herself. She can not wait for Dennis to make his choice, because that is not going to happen. so instead, she takes control.

Lana, female, 30-40 
Housewife. She loves her children and also Dennis. She hopes that her marriage will get better, but her priority is to raise her children.

For the short graduation film by Giel Roggeveen (director and writer, St Joost Breda)

The film is about a young father who is stuck in his daily life. He does not know how to make serious changes in order to get a happier life and so starts looking for excitement in other ways.

The casting will take place in Breda in the last week of October.

Rehearsals will be in November for a total of three days. 

Shooting in the last weeks of November for five days.
