Actors wanted for Sitcom Pilot "Star Dover" - a new sitcom production based in the Netherlands, following the life and journey of the unfortunate protagonist and aspiring actor - Ben Dover. As he tries to achieve his biggest dream of becoming a star, he is forced into a living arrangement with an unlikely bunch of roommates who unintentionally get in his way - Grandpa Willy, Marco, and foreign Peter. The four end up in bizarre situations as they navigate their day-to-day lives, while each one of them faces their own trials and tribulations in search for the ultimate happiness.

The production is entirely in English, despite being filmed in the Netherlands.

Shooting Location: Breda/Amsterdam

Full coverage for travel and eating expenses. Plus the opportunity to be part of what we believe could be the next big sitcom. Our team has a lot of ambition regarding this project and we plan to use the pilot as pitching grounds for production companies in order to showcase what we are capable of creating.

CHARACTERISATION: Half-Italian, Half-Dutch, average height, dark hair, big nose, polo shirt, pants, boots. Marco is reckless and childish, with out of the ballpark aspirations.
TRUE CHARACTER: Confused and scared, loyal (to Grandpa Willy), childish / spoiled, empathetic

MEGAN - Side Character / 20-30 years old / dark hair, English speaker
Megan is our protagonist's love interest.

GRANDPA WILLY - Main Cast / 55+ years old/ bold or bolding, crooked, English speaker.
CHARACTERISATION: A “slightly” demented, war veteran, +65 y/o, Dutch, bold / bolding, crooked, absent-minded, sweaters, regular pants and worn out shoes
TRUE CHARACTER: at times he suffers episodes of regret and disappointment regarding his life decisions. Usually has his head in the clouds, but tries his best to make Marco proud by staying strong and “cool”
