Casting Amsterdam- based actors for “After Hours”, a Student Short Film.
Logline: “After Hours” is a psychological thriller that follows a man who wakes up on the streets of a strange city with no memory of who he is or how he got there, and his only lead is a crypto note directing him to “Club Mortem”. Along the way, he encounters unsettling people and unexplainable events.
Shooting in Amsterdam, between the 17th and 21st of February 2025

1. THE MAN (Lead, Male, 20-30)
A disoriented man wakes up in an unfamiliar city with no memory of how he got there. As he searches for answers, he encounters strange characters and unsettling experiences that challenge his perception of reality. This role requires a wide emotional range, from confusion and desperation to rage and terror.
- Physical Requirements: Moderate physical activity, including running.
- Skills: Strong emotional depth and ability to convey psychological distress.

He’s an eerie, unpredictable character with facial scars and a head injury. He plays a major role into the lead character’s slow but inevitable paranoia and fear. He seems to recognize THE MAN and immediately steals his briefcase, leading to a chase.
