about the project
For the SMILE TIE tour in Italy.
Formed in 1995, Smile aims to teach Italian children the English language through fun and educational shows in schools and theatres. The Smile TIE tour travels across the beautiful nation of Italy, and lets you experience the culture.
Applicants will fly out to Bologna on 17th April in the morning for rehearsals and travel back 21st May (TBC). All flights will be covered.
Looking to fill the following roles:

Applicants must:
• Be fully vaccinated
• Have a degree in acting or have trained at a drama school (minimum of two years)
• Be native English speakers with a British, Irish or EU passport
• Be enthusiastic, energetic, and highly skilled at comedy and portraying characters
• Have experience leading workshops
• Have experience in TIE tours or schools (highly preferred)
• Be able to work as part of a team, as actors will be touring as a group
• Contain a full, clean driving licence
NB: Knowledge of speaking Italian is not necessary.
