SALAM GEMBIRA (Merry Greetings / Happy Greetings)
is a heartwarming comedy filmed in Rotterdam around Rotterdam Pride 2023 (late May to mid-June).
Synopsis: A Singaporean Muslim man lives with his Dutch girlfriend, Samantha. When his parents surprise him with a visit, Moe asks Sam to switch places with her gay brother, Daniel, to keep their relationship a secret. Soon, Moe’s parents begin to think that their son is dating Daniel.
Shooting in June, paid low-budget.
