Actors & Team Work

In film making, actors are only one part of a very long and intense process.
They are important because without actors a film can’t be made. But also remember, without catering, without lights, without cameras, and without drivers, a film can’t be made.
In other words, actors are part of a team and as an actor you should never, ever, forget that.
The entire process of making a film is about team work. No single person is more important than the team, and the team is all about the film. The film always comes first: not egos, arguments, or personal problems.
The film. It’s all about the film.
So when an actor gets upset and stamps their foot because someone got them an orange mocha fredoccino instead of an orange mocha frappuccino, they deserve to be fired from the set… or at least given a mighty bollocking in front of the professional and uncomplaining crew!
But whatever happens, make sure you are a Real Actor and not a Pretend Actor…
