Will I Lose my Profile if I Change my Subscription?

If your subscription expires or you cancel it, all your profile information (like showreels, images, language reels, links, text, etc.) remains in the system, but only if you do not edit your profile before upgrading again.

This means that if you edit your profile before you upgrade your subscription, you may lose some information. If you don’t edit your profile, everything’s fine.

Typical scenarios

  1. You have a Pro profile and your subscription expires and your profile no longer shows on enCAST. Immediately you re-subscribe to Pro status and look at your profile – it’s exactly as it was before with no changes and nothing missing.
  2. You have a Pro profile and your subscription expires and your profile no longer shows on enCAST. You then subscribe to Standard status; your profile will show just 2 images, 1 showreel, 1 CV, etc. in line with the Standard profile.
  3. You have a Pro profile and your subscription expires. You then edit your profile and save any edits. If you then re-subscribe to Pro status, you will lose some of the information you had, e.g. some images, some showreels, etc.
