Profile Views

When you visit your profile you’ll see an item, PROFILE VIEWS.

This shows how many people – guests, CDs, other actors, etc – have seen your profile.

Obviously the more views you can get, the better. So here are some ideas to increase the number of industry professionals checking out your profile.

Here then are a few more tips for getting more people to view your profile page:

  1. Use relevant keywords: Make sure your MORE ABOUT ME section includes keywords that people may use to search for actors with your skills or characteristics. For example, if you’re a male actor with experience in action movies, include keywords like “male actor,” “action movie,” and “stunt work,” as these will be picked up by Google, etc.

  2. Keep your profile up to date: Make sure your profile is always current and includes your most recent work and experience.

  3. Use social media: Share your profile page on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. This can help increase your visibility and get more people to check out your profile. You’ll see in the image above a link to SHARE TO FB – this is a simple way to show your profile on Facebook and have others click on it.

  4. Submit to casting calls: Apply to as many relevant casting calls as possible. This can help you gain exposure and get your name out there to casting directors and producers who may be interested in your work.

Include your profile URL in your signature

Copy your profile URL which will look something like this: www.encast.eu/profile/XXXXX/ where XXXXX is a number.

Then make sure to include this in your signature in every email or message your send.

Get a personalised (vanity) URL

If the URL with an ID number seems a little awkward, you can always make your own personalised link.

For example, instead of writing www.encast.eu/profile/33/ you can use a personalised or vanity URL like this: www.encast.me/marey which is much easier to remember.
