Post Production

The morning after the final day of shooting, while the crew are working on a new project and the actors are preparing for new roles in new films, the director and the editor sit down together and start going through the footage (the raw film/video) they’ve shot.

For weeks they’ll go over the footage editing it, adding sound effects and music; putting titles on the beginning and credits on the end.

Then… the film is finished. It is released to international acclaim, the actors tour the world promoting it, everyone wins Oscars and the world is a beautiful place.

…and that’s how a film is made.
