Casting Calls Page

CASTING CALLS on enCAST are shown with the most recent first. You can find them listed in the menu here: CASTINGS.

Open castings (i.e. they are still active) are shown with a black background and orange text.

Closed castings, which have recently finished, are shown with a light brown background and greyed out text.

Note that the closing date is shown under the main title.

Click on the main title of the casting to go to a page with details of the production and casting and submission details.

The flag shows the main area where the production is looking for actors. If the production is looking anywhere in Europe or in more than one country, then the flag is a simple blue circle (see the first casting in the image above as an example of this).

The TITLES are self-explanatory and generally follow this pattern:

• The main country where actors are needed
• The type of user needed, e.g. actor/voiceover/presenter/extra, etc
• Role gender – m (male) or f (female) or m/f for both/either/any
• Playing age
• Languages needed
• Type of production, e.g.shoot/film/tv, etc

At the end of the title you can see the payment status of the production, e.g.

• [P] – paid
• [E] – expenses
• [PS] – profit share
• [NP] – non-paid
• – contact for details

• Castings are generally removed from the site after 12 months or so; this is to keep the site clutter free.
