GERMANY: native American English spkrs for audiobooks
Hey! Native North-American-English speakers: Maybe you’re an actor looking to supplement your income. Maybe you’ve worked in radio, recorded an audiobook, done VO for a commercial, or are a podcaster. Or maybe you’re just great at reading aloud and are often told you have a lovely speaking voice. Whatever the case, we’ve got a long-term audio project with nice people and good pay that may be just right for you. Who are we? Blinkist is a Berlin-based mobile learning company that transforms great nonfiction books (think Lean In, Drive, Outliers and Freakonomics) into 10-15 minute reads made for your mobile devices. Our users love audio, so we’re expanding our catalog to be listenable, too. We need 3-4 voices, male and female, to record our summaries. Is it you we’re looking for? How do you get involved? Easy. Show us how you sound! Go here for a test text and some directions: http://blog.blinkist.com/blinkist-audio-dition/ Then grab your phone (or other preferred device) and record it. Send the file to us at by Wednesday, 15th of October, no later than 14:00 CET. If you sound like who we’re looking for and are currently in Berlin, we’d love to have you come by to read more. This gig is: Open to global candidates. Ongoing. Paid.
