about the project
For a short action/ drama film about a dysfunctional abusive relationship. The film will be put through the film festival market, with a premiere at Cannes and be pitched to streaming services.
Synopsis: Ida, a professional boxer and Luka her trainer and abuser, have been in a relationship for 3 years. We come into the same conversation they have had a million times, starting sweetly like a lovers disagreement and escalating to an aggressor and agitator, we understand it’s an abusive relationship Ida is tired of but who becomes the aggressor. Her final moment to end it all, we see Ida finally stand up for herself while Luka just doesn’t know how to love her anymore. She will leave with her freedom one way or the other. They break into a boxing fight scene inside an open plan house.
Shooting all day on 7th September in Brandenberg, Berlin.
This is a no budget project, however food and ( local ) travel expenses will be covered + Imdb credits and work for you showreel.
This project will be used as a proposal film for a feature and future funding.

Must speak English fluently.
Must have some stunt experience or at least some boxing experience (any level) and want to get into stunt work.
Must be based in Berlin/ near Brandenberg.
Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be open to the back and forth between departments and the director.
