Casting Notice

GB: male/female actors, over 70, for e-learning video [P]

For a series of videos on dementia being produced by a leading charity, we are looking for the following:

  • 3 actors
  • male and/or female
  • over 70

Actors will play care home residents suffering from dementia. The ‘resident’ characters will have different types/stages of dementia and will be involved in a variety of right-way/wrong way care simulations and other scripted sequences within a care home setting.  We are specifically looking for actors who can show the behaviour of somebody with dementia sympathetically, despite some of the behaviours being ‘challenging’. Please note: Some stills will be taken on the day and some sequences may be audio only.

Audition dates: final week of March. Shooting 10th April.

£250.00 + reasonable expenses (agreed in advance) for a 10-hour day. This will be for a complete buy out of the performance (non-broadcast).
