TIE tour Italy – Casting for 6 actors and 6 actresses

Location: Italy

Details of the role: Formed in 1995, Smile aims to teach Italian children the English language through fun and educational shows in schools and theatres, as well as workshops. The Smile TIE tour travels across the beautiful nation of Italy, and lets you experience the culture.

Age: 22-32

Applicants must:

• Have a degree in acting or have trained at a drama school (minimum of two years)

• Be English speakers with an Irish or EU passport 

• Be enthusiastic, energetic, and highly skilled at comedy and portraying characters

• Have experience doing and leading workshops

• Have experience in TIE tours or schools (highly preferred)

• Be able to work as part of a team, as actors will be touring as a group

• Have a full, clean driving licence is necessary

Knowledge of speaking Italian is not necessary. 

Dates: Applicants will fly out to Italy in January 2019 for rehearsal, then touring through until May 2019.

Touring: Accommodation, breakfast, car, insurance, and all work-related expenses throughout Italy are provided.

Flights: Will be reimbursed up to € 120 (not upfront)

Wages: €255.00 (after tax) per week + €60.00 (after tax) per week as a bonus if 10 to 12 shows + one food ticket €5.29 for each day of work.
