Casting French-speaking actress for "Une Belle Histoire" a student short film. This casting is open to actors in Belgium, the North of France, and the Netherlands.
The short is based on the song "Une Belle Histoire" by Michel Fugain & Le Big Bazar. The story follows a man and a woman who share an unforgettable love story during a summer in France. Years later, when his memory-filled car breaks down, the man is forced to face the past and let go.
Filming will take place from Sunday, May 11th, to Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, in Dunkerque, France. (Please apply only if you are available to stay in France during these dates).
All expenses in France (travel costs/accommodation/food and beverages) will be covered by the production. Additionally, yoou'll get new material for your acting portfolio and the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic crew in (hopefully sunny) France!

About the character: a French, sharp-witted and rebellious young woman with a traditional upbringing. She has a distinctive, artistic style and dark hair. Though confident and free-spirited, she struggles with the expectations placed upon her. Torn between duty and desire, she searches for her own path while carrying the weight of her past.
NB: You will be acting alongside a male actor who plays the role of Matthijs. Please note that in the film, your characters fall in love, which includes two intimate scenes.
