Casting Afghan talent for the first feature film of Chabname Zariab.

Chabname Zariab, the director, is known for 3 short films for 3 short films: Au bruit des bells (2016), L'enfant chameau (2018) and Hizia (2020).

Logline: Summer 2021. The Taliban have invaded the country, Leila*, a young widow evicted by her family-in-law, arrives in Kabul.

*Leila (the female lead) is played by Golshifteh Farahani.

Production dates: Spring 2025, in France and Kurdistan.
