about the project
‘Kents Cavern’ near Torquay in Devon is looking for actors and performers for the Christmas Grotto Show.
The show will be a promenade performance through the caves with each character doing around 10 – 12 minutes performance per tour which is usually every half hour.
Cast members will need to be confident in facilitating activities with groups of adults and children, have lots of energy and give performances that are fun and engaging.
Above all we want to create some Christmas magic!
All parts except Santa are not age specific however please note that the tours do get busy and the caves can be a strenuous place to work in.
Rates of pay are £11 per hour for cast members and £13 per hour for Santa.
You must be available from 3rd to 24th December plus some rehearsals which will be scheduled later in the year.
