For the show “Sheep love to die” by Phil Tong. Directed by John Berry. Produced by Printers Playhouse. 

Logline: Evelyn and Constance are two elderly sisters quietly living their own lives until suddenly, on one fateful afternoon, their world is shaken by events. But have they always been out of sync with the world and, indeed, with each other?

Actors must be available for all rehearsal and performance dates. These will be held in January 2024 at Printers Playhouse in Eastbourne.

Show fee: £1100 for the production. 72 hours rehearsal (not including tech) works out @ roughly £15 an hour.

Constance : A retired older woman (post 60 yrs) who once was the life and soul of the party but is now rather anxious about life.

Evelyn : A retired headteacher and elder sister of Constance.

Steve : A Londoner and ex-con, who is delighted with his new girlfriend, Janey, and his new job.

Janey : A recent school leaver with a long-term alcoholic mother.

Kavanagh : A successful London business man (post 60 yrs) with an Irish background.

Daz : Steve’s mate with a criminal past, who also works for Pat Kavanagh - bit of a ‘wide boy’.
