Kerryn must come to terms with her and her mother’s damaging past relationship as she packs up her recently deceased mothers house for good.
A short film: drama, social realism, social commentary.
Shooting over 3 days in Derbyshire in early March 2023.
Paid £175 plus local travel and catering.

KERRYN (lead) - any ethnicity
Her thoughts on what she could say to her mother are still stuck with her after all these years, but with her mother’s passing, she can only say these thoughts to herself. She can be snappy with her comments, but also reflective with her statements. She keeps her thoughts simple and clear, but her actions can sometimes be the opposite. Kerryn is in good shape, but wants to better herself, with her approach with what she eats, and what she must do mentally to find peace. It’s not an easy path, but she’s determined so that her life can be better. At the beginning she is stubborn, but in the end, she lets go of her thoughts and feelings. This for her is a healing process. Kerryn has her own distinct style, she wears a thick turtleneck, and baggy jeans. She wears plain shoes that fit with what she has on. Most importantly, the clothes shall tell something about her, and her mental state, as well as fit the environment she is in.
