Film: Andy's short film portfolio boasts dynamic performances in MORNING COFFEE, THE KNOCK, and the award-winning* 1.2 MILLION. *ORILLO award, 2019.

TV: Portraying John Palmer in HEISTS THAT SHOOK THE WORLD.

Radio: Previously co-presenting live on BBC Radio Manchester. Also voicing characters such as the Major of Manchester and army veterans in captivating roles in radio plays like NATIVITY and 1946.

Theatre: Andy has been tackling a diverse array of roles, from portraying an AI robot in LOVE vs LOGIC to embodying an autistic bus spotter in THE BUS STOP, a touring production.

TRAINING

Radio: Co-presenting on BBC Radio Manchester in 2017.

Screen acting (short course): Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

Screen acting: Inspire Actors Studio (7 months).

Policing, Investigating and Detective Training: During the pandemic, Andy began training as a professional police officer, completing the national detective's exam. Despite graduating and successfully saving lives, Andy was dreaming about his passion for returning to acting, resulting in Andy leaving policing and re-committing to advancing his acting career. Andy has a unique blend of policing and acting experience, perfect for playing British government officials and establish characters, in an industry that is increasingly demanding authenticity.

Biological Sciences: graduate from Durham University, 2000.

Teaching English as a Foreign language: West London College 2008.

One of Andy's strengths is being understood across diverse international audiences. Andy's natural accent is a mixture of Received Pronunciation (RP)/northern English accent/Yorkshire. Andy is also advanced in heightened RP, or traditional BBC English and a Yorkshire Accent.
