Casting male actors for “Magnus Hirschfeld” a low budget short film.
About the project: This will be a proof of concept where we’ll shoot what’s meant to be “home movies” of Magnus Hirschfeld, the German sexologist and first trans activist, as he walks through his sexual institute's garden. In the future, I will explore the life and legacy of Magnus Hirschfeld, a pioneering German physician and sexologist who founded the Institute for Sexual Science in Berlin. This narrative will be framed through the perspective of Li, one of his close companions and lovers, and will include scenes depicting Hirschfeld’s walks around the institute’s gardens. I will remain behind the camera as Li, who will be shooting Magnus as he walks through the garden.
Shooting Date: July 23rd or July 24th 2024 [The role will require about a 60 minute shoot.]
