Sugar is about Roy, a middle-aged father, estranged from his daughter, who spends a day in Prague with Karolina, a young woman he met online, navigating a complex web of loneliness, longing, and unspoken truths.
It is the thirteenth short film in our Life Improvised series, short films about the moments that make up relationships which we film around the world.
Shooting in Prague on 18th June.
Paid €250 plus travel expenses and accommodation if needed.

Karolina is a Czech nationality or similar but speaking English.
She dreams of becoming a professional violinist but comes from a poor family. She has become a sugar baby to Roy and now they are meeting for the first time with Roy expecting 'the girlfriend experience'.
Karolina is vulnerable and conflicted, hopeful yet cautious, knowing that this encounter could either be a stepping stone towards her dreams or a shedding of her dignity.
The role is improvised. We work from a story outline but leave must of the dialogue to the actors so you must be fluent in English. In your submission please talk about any improv experience you have.
Note: the role requires some nudity.
